Johnno opened Sure Fire Tattoos about four years ago with a fellow artist. The partnership last over two years and now Johnno is the sole proprietor of the shop.
While trained as a chef cooking did not hold Johnnos interest long. Being bored with the restaurant scene, Johnno was lucky enough to apprentice at China Doll Tattoos for four years. Japanese tattoos are Johnnos passion but he also loves to do black & gray realism and neo-traditional tattoos. Never getting enough of art, Johnno also paints in water color & acrylic. Johnno has never regretted his decision to open Sure Fire Tattoos and do his own thing.

Wendell loves all types of tattooing and if he hasnt done a particular style he is willing to try it. He favors pin-up girls, portraits, traditional and new school tattoo styles. Wendell has been drawing and painting since has was old enough to hold a pencil; he has worked in acrylic, oils, and pen & ink. Wendell always had a strong desire to get into tattooing but didnt get serious about this career move until after he had his first child. He apprenticed at Peace of Art Tattoos for three years before coming to work at Sure Fire Tattoos.

Joey is a 24 year old tattoo artist specializing in traditional American and the neo-traditional style of tattooing as well as bold color work. Joey has been tattooing for about a year and a half yet has painted in ink and water colors for much longer.
While tattooing is Joeys passion, family and friends are his life.

Ken has been a tattoo artist since 1997, he spent 9 years at Tainted Skin Tattoo's in Crown Point, IN. Ken specializes in Custom Marker Sketch Tattoos, Portraits, Realism and just about anything else. Tattoo artist, Painter, Star Wars Geek and a Ladiesman.
