What in Heaven’s name do the stars have to do with Christmas? Plenty! Surely you recall the star that guide the Wise Men to the birthplace of the Savior. Far to the east they looked up one night and saw it brightly beckoning them to Bethlehem. But that’s just one star. Stars are scattered throughout the pages of Holy Writ. In fact, you find stars at the very beginning. This special series of worship services for Advent allows the stars to lead us to Bethlehem-proclaiming, as they do, the story of our Savior, Christ the Lord.

The holidays are almost here! Do you love Christmas cookies and candy but don’t have the energy or time to spend all weekend baking? Then you need to come to Heritage Hall at Immanuel Lutheran Church on December 11th and “cookie walk” from table to table and hand-pick your favorite cookies and candy from our huge assortment of all homemade cookies and candy baked by the wonderful women and men of Immanuel. The boxes of cookies also make yummy presents for friends, family and neighbors! We are again offering two sizes of cookie boxes, which hold many, many wonderful cookies! For best cookie selection come early because the cookies go fast!
