Tensions strain our relationships to the point of snapping. War and violence fill the news. Conflicts poison our work environments. Racism leaves ugly scars. Inner unrest steals our peace. People are lost and alone among millions, anonymous even to their neighbors.
All this results from a deeper alienation: our alienation from God.
We need God.
We need to be reconciled to God.
‘We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.’ 2 Corinthians 5:20, The Bible

How can we turn our knowledge about God into knowledge of God? The rule for doing this is demanding, but simple. It is that we turn each truth that we learn about God into matter for meditation before God, leading to prayer and praise to God.
