2010 has brought many changes including my firm's merger with the law offices of Konicek & Dillon located in Geneva, Illinois. I will continue to provide legal representation in all criminal defense matters. By joining Konicek & Dillon, I will be better able to serve all of my current and future clients. In addition, the firm of Konicek & Dillon provides representation in many areas of civil law, including but not limited to personal injury cases, medical and legal malpractice and a wide range of other areas. Please visit the firm's website at www.konicekdillonlaw.com for more information. In the meantime, feel free to explore my website further to see how I can help you with your legal issues.
My criminal practice focuses on educating the accused about their rights and their options in the criminal justice system. Removing the mystery of the courts allows one to make better decisions and leads to better results.
I have over 14 years of experience in the field of criminal defense and have tried hundreds of cases before juries and judges. In 2005, I was selected by the Chief Judge's Office of the 16th Circuit to represent indigent clients when a conflict existed with the Public Defender's Office. I continue to accept such appointments. I have handled crimes as petty as a traffic ticket to the serious murder cases.
I pledge to offer my clients zealous representation at a reasonable cost. Please explore the rest of this website to learn more about my practice, my professional background and what I can offer you in defending your case.
Please feel free to contact my office by telephone or e-mail for a FREE CONSULTATION.
Thanks for visiting.
1. What experience does the attorney have in the criminal defense field?
I have been an attorney for over fourteen years and have focused on criminal defense for the entire time. I do not dabble in criminal law. Defending the accused constitutes more than 90% of my practice. I have successfully tried cases before juries and judges from Speeding to Murder.
2. Does this attorney possess adequate knowledge about criminal defense issues?
I am a member of the Illinois State and Kane County Bar Associations and utilize their services and others to remain up-to-date in all the current trends of criminal law.
3. What experience does this attorney have in the county where I was arrested?
I concentrate my practice to Kane, DuPage, Kendall and DeKalb Counties. I can provide referrals for other counties if necessary.
4. How much does the attorney charge for his services?
My office establishes fees based on the class of the pending charge. I will explain to you the cost of my services and what is included in that price quote. I offer flat rates and allow reasonable payment plans. My office accepts cash, checks and credit cards.
5. Am I comfortable with the attorney?
My initial consultation is free of charge, so there is no risk to you to meet with me concerning your case. I will take the time to explain all of your options and all of their consequences. In most cases, you, as the accused, must make the final decision as to how the case will proceed. However, you cannot make that decision unless you get honest and reliable information concerning the charges. Although not always popular, I will not sugarcoat answers to your questions nor will I exaggerate what I can do for you.
6. Is the attorney readily available to me?
I will handle your case personally and pledge to respond to your calls and letters in a timely fashion. I am often in my office seven days a week.
7. Can you guarantee me a specific outcome?
No. No Illinois attorney can guarantee the outcome of a case. This is not allowed by the Illinois Rules of Professional Conduct that guide the actions of all licensed Illinois attorneys. However, after reviewing the facts and circumstances of your case, we can usually get a very good idea of a possible outcome.
I invite you to call my office at your convenience, so that we may discuss your case in greater detail.
