Our shelves are full with fall and winter clothing. Spring and summer consignment begins in December.
We are also now accepting bigger sizes - all the way through teen and adult!

Most consignment is by appointment. Although we recommend calling before bringing items in for consignment, you may just walk in during store hours if you have less than 20 items. But please note that we cannot guarantee acceptance. During busy times we may not be able to review items brought it without an appointment.
If you have a child that loves Elmo, you should know that both Elmo and Cookie Monter show up at the store from time to time. Watch this website for dates and times!

Recycle Shopping Bags
If you're like me, you want to reuse shopping bags but often forget to bring them with you when you shop. So we're now offering a recycling program for shopping bags! If you have nice bags that are still usable, bring them to the store and put them in our basket by the counter. Then, when you come the store you can help yourself to any of the bags in that basket to take home what you purchased. If this honor system works, we'll always have a good supply of bags for those who wish to do so. Don't forget to bring in your extra bags for people to use! If they are sturdy bags made of plastic or fabric, you may even earn store credit for bringing them in. Help reduce the amount of disposable bags used.
From My Room is a unique store in the Chicagoland area here to assist in matching owners of gently-used items with value-conscious shoppers who want to get the most value for their money. Just because something has been pre-owned doesn't mean that it has been used! Many of our items come to us brand new because they were gifts or purchases that for one reason or another just never got used. We also offer an in-store selection of a great variety of unique items!
We are unique because we offer you various options for selling your items that may include in-store consignment, Ebay sales, outright purchase, and trade. Call before bringing items in to find out what we're accepting and when to bring them. If you have high-end designer items, be sure to discuss your needs with us. We offer several Top Shelf programs that offer great options for you! What makes us different from other resale stores are all the selling and payment options we offer! Our flexibility is unmatched!
We have also developed programs for licensed daycare providers and other child-related professional occupations such as physical therapists that can provide you with discounts. Ask for details.
We specialize in quality baby, children's and teen / women's clothes and accessories, toys, furniture, equipment and maternity clothes but can also handle most other items as an Ebay sale. We also offer a great selection of new items that we stock because they offer a more unique variety of choices for you. We welcome your suggestions for other items you would like to see in our store.
