Our Mission Statement:
The purpose and goal of Calvary Baptist Church is to bring glory to God by carrying out His Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). This involves the evangelization of lost men, women and children with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the baptism by immersion of born again believers, and the preaching of God's Holy Word to facilitate spiritual growth and maturity in the lives of Christians that they may be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ (Romans 8:29).
Simply Jesus in 2010
For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.
O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth, Isaiah 25:1.
We will be having our mid-week service on Tuesday, Nov 23rd. Come and enjoy a soup supper along with a time of thanksgiving and prayer.
Kids4Truth Clubs at 7:00 p.m. each Wednesday night, beginning again September 8, 2010. This is a program for children 3 year olds through 6th graders. Please contact Pastor Weesner if you are interested in your children attending.
