What is a Prosthodontist?
David Shonberg DDS FACP is trained and board certified in the specialty of prosthodontics. Prosthodontics is one of eight dental specialities recognized by the American Dental Association, and focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of patients with complex oral health issues. Prosthodontics, from a procedural perspective, can be characterized as esthetic, implant, and reconstructive dentistry. Common dental procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges, and dentures are included under the umbrella of prosthodontics. Additional procedures are listed below.
