In the late 1980s, both Scott Gubin and Patrice Powers had established individual, successful practices, each growing to the point that additional expertise was needed to expand their current practices. As a result, Gubin & Powers was established in 1992 by combining their practices. Bringing their knowledge and expertise together gave Scott and Patrice the ability to provide more personalized help in many areas.
Today, Gubin & Powers Inc. has offices located in Springfield and Pawnee, Illinois. Thanks to our reputation, Gubin & Powers has been able to grow, and still meet the needs of our clients.
Scott and Patrice believe as your accountants, they provide the services of an internal controller with the flexibility of the external accountant. They pride themselves in their personal, face-to-face service and believe it is important for clients to establish trust in their accountants. Sharing time between their two offices, they are able to get to know all of their clients and deliver exceptional, individualized service.
