17th Annual Operation Santa
WPGU 107.1 is helping bring back the magic of Christmas, embarking on its 17th annual Operation Santa. This mission raises money to purchase gifts for families in Champaign country. The families of Crisis Nursery will benefit from Operation Santa.
Starting Monday, November 15 through Friday, December 3, WPGU is asking for donations through events and opportunities such as on-air pledge-a-thons and adopting a child's wish list. Operation Santa strives to make every child's Christmas a little brighter. At the conclusion of the fund drive, WPGU will hold a Christmas party for the families to celebrate the season and present the gifts.
