Sound By Design DJ Service, unlike bands and many other DJ's, will play any type of song you request. With more than 25,000 titles to choose from, we are able to play what you want to hear. You can choose titles from the most comprehensive music lists in the area, updated before every show. The list is also available during the event to allow you and your guests to place requests. Requests for special music not on our list can usually be honored or, if you wish, you may provide tapes or CD's for us to play. This often works well for ethnic music.

Sound By Design's DJ's provide a quick and efficient set up. This is most often completed prior to the arrival of guests. Emphasis is placed on courtesy and appearance. Our DJ's dress appropriately for your event, usually shirt and tie. Special dress is available upon request. Our DJ's do not take breaks, so you get continuous music. For weddings, our DJ's MC for your special dances, announce the wedding party, bouquet and garter toss, cutting of the cake, make announcements and ask for requests. We make every effort to ensure quality entertainment while not becoming the center of attraction, reserving this for the Bride and Groom at wedding receptions.

If a wedding reception is the plan, Mr. Breneman would like to have an opportunity to consult with the Bride and Groom personally. Meeting prior to the date will give you the opportunity to plan the events’ activities and if available have a chance for the you to personally meet our DJ, Mr. Mike Bradley. This allows you and Mr. Bradley to become more familiar with one another so that more of a "personal touch" and smooth operation can occur for this particular type of occasion.

We will be there ON TIME ready to play when you need us. Our staff has the experience and knowledge to help organize your event, make announcements, and play the music which will make your event a success. Last minute planning is often possible. No location is too small nor too large and we perform equally well inside or out.

Unlike many other DJ services, Sound By Design offers state of the art sound equipment. We feature a spectrum analyzer and a pink noise generator which adjusts the sound frequencies to best match the acoustic quality of the location and eliminates feedback when using the microphone. These features allow us to provide top quality sound for any occasion. We also feature one of the area's most elaborate computerized lighting system. The lighting system sets the mood for each song and helps bring the "shy" dancer to the dance floor.

 If a professional sound system is needed, we have enough sound equipment and experience to support a 5 member band.
 A large variety of music. including, but not limited to: Top 40 Dance, Club, 50's and 60's, Country, Big Band, Waltzes, Polkas and many other ballroom dances. We have over 2400 compact discs, 200 recorded albums, and approximately 160 specially compiled tapes and CD’s. This expansive music library has over 25,000 titles.

With all these advantages, we remain one of the least expensive services in the area. And no deposit is required to book your date. Sound By Design charges a flat rate of $450 for its services. As Sound by Design also specializes in music for weddings, for an additional nominal fee of $50 this service can too be provided. Special discounts are offered in a variety of situations up to and including discounts for Military Personnel, Schools and Social Service Organizations (501C3 agencies).
