My father opened the first My Pie Pizza 39 years ago on Sheridan Road across from Loyola University in the Rogers Park area of Chicago. He started with a deep dish pizza recipe that he had been perfecting for 15 years. Serving pizzas made out of the finest ingredients was an immediate success.
