Welcome to the Elgin Turners The Elgin Turners is a private club (sponsored membership required), but we proudly share our facility to offer Elgin and surrounding communities with a public Friday night dining option and Banquet Hall rentals for your special events. If you wish to attend any of the events listed in the Member Access announcements you should be accompanied by a Turner member. The Elgin Turners has long been known for their weekly fish fry. The first fish fry was served at the hall in 1939. The dinner then consisted of two pieces of perch, fries, coleslaw and a piece of bread. Elgin still continues the fish fry tradition, but now with an expanded menu and "All You Can Eat" options!
This Friday Night Fish Fry has a homemade feeling at the ELGIN TURNERS hall during Lent and throughout the year. Please join us every Friday night for our ever-popular Fish Fry. Historic Elgin Turner Hall provides a unique and casual dining atmosphere. Full service bar on site. And youll love the economical prices!

Rent the Elgin Turners for your next event! The Elgin Turners Hall overlooks historic downtown Elgin, the Fox River and is within minutes of the Grand Victoria Riverboat Casino. It is housed in a historic building dating from the early 1870s. There are 2 halls on site that are available for public rental for Anniversary parties, Birthday parties, Meetings, Seminars, etc. Please CALL the Elgin Turners directly for hall availability and to schedule a consultation regarding your rental needs, 847-697-4431. Hall Rentals are not coordinated via email.
How To Join The Elgin Turners:
Complete an application card (available at the Club bar).
You must have two Elgin Turner members in good standing sponsor and recommend you by signing your application card.
Upon acceptance into the club, you will be notified to attend a General Membership Meeting to be sworn in and to meet with the Membership Committee for an orientation and tour as you submit your application with dues.

The American Turners endeavor to accomplish their purposes and promote their ideals through: A planned program of health and physical education for the development of a sound body; A planned program of cultural education for the development of a sound mind; A planned recreational and social program for all members of the family group and Participation in all worthy civic projects, both Local and National.

Announcements Effective January 1, 2008, in compliance with the Smoke Free Illinois Act, the Elgin Turners is completely Smoke-free. Smoking is prohibited anywhere inside the building. Smoking must be done outside and a minimum of 15 feet away from any hall entrance. Signs will be posted and ashtrays have been removed, in accordance with the law. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
The original Hub's Restaurant, located in Skokie, was established in 1976 and since then has been devoted to quality service.
