Robert is licensed in the state of Illinois as a Clinical Professional Counselor. He is also a National Certified Counselor with the National Board of Certified Counselors and a Board Certified Biblical Counselor with the American Association of Christian Counselors. Robert received his graduate degrees in Pastoral Counseling and Religious Studies from Loyola University Chicago and Chicago Theological Seminary, respectively. His education and clinical training emphasized the relationship between spirituality and mental health which makes him especially qualified to incorporate spiritual themes into treatment. He also has extensive experience in secular environments as well and is therefore equally qualified to treat clients without spiritual emphasis. Robert utilizes an eclectic and holistic approach to help clients achieve their goals for treatment. He tends to work from a pastoral, psychodynamic, and interpersonal framework and believes that all healing happens in the context of relationships.
