I first opened Oats and Honey Photography shortly after my oldest son was born. I no longer wanted to leave my children for a nine to five job. I never imagined it would turn into what it is today. Having my children and watching them grow has been both incredible and heartbreaking. They change so quickly and every day slips by faster than I would like. I look at the newborn pictures I have of them and it feels like it was just yesterday that I was bringing home my oldest daughter and trying to figure out what it meant to be a Mommy. I am so grateful for those images because I can look at them and remember how tiny their little hands and feet were, the way they would gaze up at me while they were eating, the little flakes on their feet that signified their newness. It has become not only my passion, but my mission to provide families with memories and art they will cherish for a lifetime.
