The Quilt Corner in Morton, Illinois, offers quilters a place to shop for all their quilting needs. Our quilt shop offers over 5500 bolts of fabric, a full line of quilting supplies, quilt kits, quilt patterns, and much more. The Quilt Corner staff prides itself in staying abreast of all the current quilting trends. We are currently excited about the possibilities offered by the new mid arm quilting machine, the Handi Quilter Sixteen.
At our quilt shop we specialize in quilt kits for a variety of projects. We offer baby quilt kits, and kits for table runners, wall quilts, lap quilts and more. Check out our kits page on this site to see what we have to offer.
Our quilt classes and workshops allow participants to learn the basics of quilting and find new inspiration for future quilt projects.
Handi Quilter Sixteen and the new Pro-Stitcher
When you visit our quilt shop, whether online or in person, be sure to look at all the features available in the Handi Quilter Sixteen quilting machine. The Handi Quilter Sixteen, a mid arm quilting machine, has 16 inches of throat space, twice that of any other home sewing machine. Compared to short arm sewing machines, the Handiquilter can complete more quilts faster and easier while providing 2-4 times the available quilt space. This machine is less expensive than upper end sewing machines and allows you to use the same stencils, patterns, and thread that commercial quilters use.
At the same time, the Handi Quilter 16 does almost everything a long arm quilting machine can do for less than half the price. The Handi Quilter 16 is a user-friendly machine and comes with excellent customer service and re-assuring warranty coverage. We are an authorized dealer for the Handi Quilter 16 quilting machine and can answer your questions.
The new HQ Pro-Stitcher features a beautiful 8" color touch screen with simple to use controls. HQ computerized quilting is elegantly powerful. Get precise, hassle-free stitching without cumbersome cables or an additional PC. Load existing digital quilt patterns or use the included design software package to create your own. It's simple to set up and can mount to both existing and new HQ Sixteen stitch regulated machines. Plus, you can switch from computerized quilting to free motion quilting with a flick of the quick release switch.

The Quilt Corner was established in 1988 and, with 5000 square feet of floor space, it is one of the largest Illinois quilt shops. With over 5500 bolts to choose from you are sure to find something you've never seen before.

The Tulip Log Cabin quilt featured on the bench above is a variation of the traditional log cabin block that has a tulip center. The quilt was designed by Pat Olson and published by The Quilt Corner. The instructions for the quilt are written in many sizes to suit your needs. The pattern is available for $7 postage paid by writing or calling The Quilt Corner.
