Based in Morrison, Illinois, RC Smith Transportation provides a wide range of services to the northern Illinois region. Founded during World War II, we initially were nothing more than a single station-wagon taking our neighbors' children to school. From that humble beginning, we have evolved to offer a wide variety of services:
SCHOOL BUSES: Our modern fleet of about 20 buses provides service to the Morrison school system. During weekends and all summer, they are available for other uses such as a trip to Great America(Gurnee) or Magic Waters(Rockford).
LIMOUSINES: Located about two hours from Chicago, we are an important link to the world by providing service to Chicago's O'Hare and Midway airports, along with several other regional airports (Moline, Rockford, Cedar Rapids, Des Moines). Whether it be a group day-trip to Chicago, to nearby Fulton for Dutch Days, a day along the Rock River near Erie, or several weeks touring the country, our modern fleet of well-equipped touring buses (provided by our affiliate SCENIC STAGE LINE), can provide the latest in traveling comfort. We once had the pleasure of providing campaign transportation services for then-future President Ronald Reagan, a personal friend of our founder.
