The Hansen Family Dentistry team is dedicated to providing you excellent dentistry in a warm, comfortable, and clean environment, and to making your dental experience a pleasant one. With an emphasis on preventive dentistry, we hope to correct your small problems before they become large ones. We base our practice on the golden rule - we will treat each patient as we would like to be treated.

All patients are seen on an appointment basis. We would request that you call in advance to reserve the proper amount of time for your needs. We understand the value of your time and will make every effort to keep your appointments on schedule.

If you are unable to keep you appointment, please call (309) 764-5135. Please give us at least 24 hours notice so this time can be given to another patient. Any missed appointments may result in a service charge.

If you have an emergency during regular office hours, please call the office as soon as possible. You may have to be seen the same day, and we will do our best to accommodate your dental emergency. If an emergency occurs after hours, call either of the doctors (John or Kirk) at home.
Recall Visits and Radiographs (X-rays)
We believe in the benefits of regular preventative dental care, and therefore encourage our patients to return for periodic preventative visits. We feel the interval between visits should be an individualized decision based upon your oral health needs. The doctor and you will determine what is the best program for your health. This same personalized approach is used with all treatments including x-rays. Please advise us of any changes in:

Insurance, Fees and Payments
Our treatments and fees are based on professional judgment, not on whether or not a patient has dental benefits. We understand the high cost of care and will do our utmost to try to keep these costs down, but we will not sacrifice your health or safety.
For those patients with dental insurance, we will prepare the necessary forms without additional charge. It must be understood, however, that you are responsible for your complete account; we are merely assisting you in collecting your benefit. Many misunderstandings regarding insurance result from assuming that insurance will cover everything. This is rarely the case. It is important that you are aware of your insurance coverage, and our team will be sure to help if you have any insurance-related inquiries.
