We have lots of great things going on in Monticello this week, check it out!
Happy summer everyone, I hope you are staying cool during this heat wave!
It’s hard to believe, but back to school is fast approaching and with it our grand “reveal” of fall clothing!
In preparation for fall clothing, summer clothing is now on clearance. If you would like to pick up your consignments early and NOT have them on clearance, please do so now. Otherwise, come and shop some GREAT clearance prices on some adorable clothes!
We are now accepting fall/winter (please don’t bring in heavy winter coats just yet!), and mark your calendar for the fall clothing reveal!
Monticello’s reveal: July 31st-August 1st!
Homer’s reveal: August 7th!
Come down to the Square in Monticello for a fun night!
There will be free horse rides for the kids by the Piatt County Trailblazers beginning at 5:30pm on Washington Street.
Movie starts at dusk and we will begin selling hotdogs, nachos, popcorn, glass-bottled soda and cotton candy from our 1917 Model T Popcorn Truck at 6pm!
VILLAGE WARDROBE SPECIAL: Purchase $10 worth of merchandise before the movie and receive a FREE glow stick!
“Horse around, have dinner and watch a movie”

Village Wardrobe presents a FREE outdoor movie on the corner of Main and First Streets in Homer
This month’s movie, UP!
Have you ever heard of a “Sample Sale”? I hadn’t heard of one until last summer!
Designers have reps with big city showrooms. Every season, samples are sent to the showrooms so store owners have a sample to look at when they place orders.
As you can imagine, after all the orders are in for the season the samples have to be liquidated!
We have hundreds of samples from brands such as Haven Girl, Giggle Moon, Joules, Little Traveler, Kaiya Eve, Glam, and MUCH MUCH MORE! These samples are only one of each, and they are priced at WHOLESALE price. That is 1/2 the retail price OR MORE!
The sale begins on Friday and goes through Sunday. Come out for a sidewalk sale on Saturday in conjunction with the Monticello Main Streets May Market sales!
This isn’t as fancy as our old website, but I need something that we can constantly edit! It’s a little rough, so bear with me!
