In today's courts, lawsuits resulting from Automobile Accidents are some of the most commonly filed cases. Contact an attorney today to review the opportunities to receive benefits for such things as medical expenses, lost income, disability, pain and suffering, disfigurement, and wrongful death.

Slip and Fall accidents can be more than embarrassing; they can seriously impact a victim's quality of life. In many cases it is difficult to determine the specific hazards that lead to a slip or a fall, and no less difficult to establish responsibility for such hazards. Conditions such as incliment weather, uneven surfaces, or faulty construction might lead to such accidents. If you experience a slip-and-fall accident, Whiteside Law is able to establish your defense and pursue justice on your behalf.

We depend on doctors to improve our lives. However when a medical professional strays from the standard of care it can have significant negative repurcussions including, but not limited to, fatality. When life is disturbed or cut short at the hand of a medical expert, Whiteside Law will help you to pursue proper legal action. To prove that you have experienced damages due to medical mistakes, contact us today.

The death of a family member is difficult to bear, and that difficulty is compounded when the death is the fault of another person or company. The loss of income, benefits, and companionship caused by the absence of your loved one may be recoverable damages. Fatalities caused by a drunk driver, a poorly built structure, medical failures, or dangerous/defective products should be discussed with Whiteside Law to determine if any legal pursuit is justfied.

The difficult decision to place a loved one in a nursing home or elder care is made with the assumption that they will be kept safe and receive proper care. Abuse of any sort - medical, emotional, financial, and even unexplainable injury - is a deep betrayal of that trust. If you believe your loved one has experienced mistreatment, contact Whiteside law to discuss a successful approach to receive proper care and compensation for your family member.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Whiteside Law has a proven history of achieving maximum settlements for our clients. The following selection of cases illustrate the results we intend to deliver when we partner with each new client. To discuss your specific circumstances, contact us today.

Mesothelioma is a deadly form of cancer that forms in the lungs of individuals who have been exposed to asbestos. Attorney Jason M. Whiteside has worked with a large Chicago law firm for years pursing justice for his clients that are afflicted with mesothelioma as a result of asbestos exposure. Some of those results include:

$2 Million + settlement for a 52 year old man who was diagnosed with mesothelioma. Our client was in the Navy in the late 1960s and worked on the boilers and piping throughout his ship, which was coated in asbestos. Unfortunately, our client developed mesothelioma after an almost 40 year latency period and died shortly thereafter, leaving behind a wife and three children.
$1 Million + settlement for an 82 year old man that was diagnosed with mesothelioma. Our client worked in several manufacturing industries throughout the 1950s and 1960s where he was exposed to asbestos. Unfortunately, our client was diagnosed with mesothelioma at the age of 81 and subsequently passed away in under one year.

$250,000 settlement for a woman who was injured in an automobile accident and developed a tear in her shoulder that required surgical intervention. Our client was able to return to a normal lifestyle soon after her surgery.
$240,000 settlement for a woman who was struck by a commercial van and required surgery to her right knee. Following her recovery, our client was able to return to a normal lifestyle and continues to work.
$245,000 settlement for a man who was rear-ended and underwent surgery to his neck following the collision.

Ongoing lifetime weekly payment for a 48 year old woman whose husband died in a tragic work-related accident. The employer refused to pay our client because she had been separated from her husband for several years prior to the accident. After taking her case to trial, Attorney Whiteside was able to secure an award of a weekly payment of $430.69 tax- free until our client passes away. Given her life expectancy of 40 years, our client will receive a total of over $800,000 in lifetime benefits.
$275,000 for a bricklayer that was injured while working for his employer. After undergoing back surgery, our client was unable to return to his previous profession, but found employment making almost the same wage as his previous profession.
$300,000 for a 62 year old woman injured while at work as a school teacher when she tripped over a defect on the floor. Our client struck her right shoulder and had subsequent shoulder surgery. After our client performed over 1,000 job searches and was unable to find employment, Attorney Whiteside was able to settle the case.
