DSC was created in 1972 by the merger of four community organizations devoted to serving children and adults with developmental disabilities. The agency has fulfilled and exceeded the hopes of the founders in both scope and commitment. Annually, DSC provides services to approximately 1,400 individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in Champaign, Ford, Piatt and Iroquois counties with a comprehensive spectrum of services based on individual choice.
Choice of services are administered through five program areas which include:
