Welcome to the Rock Island Animal Hospital

The Rock Island Animal Hospital has provided advanced veterinary care to dogs and cats in the Quad Cities area since the 1940's. Dr. Richard Coster purchased the practice in 1960 and was joined by Dr. Larry Tadlock in 1971. Dr. Coster retired in 2004 and Dr. Tadlock continued the practice. In June of 2004, Dr. Jill Rigg joined Rock Island Animal Hospital as an Associate Veterinarian. In February of 2010, Dr. Elizabeth Narske took over for Dr. Tadlock, who is now enjoying his semi-retirement.

We are committed to providing the best services possible to help your pet live a long and happy life. This commitment to the well being of your pet includes upgraded equipment such as x-ray equipment and an in-house lab that will help us give a prompt diagnosis and quick treatment to each patient.
Our hospital is easily accessible and our walk-in service is convenient to residents in Rock Island, Moline, Milan, Davenport and Bettendorf.
