We are available to you Tues - Sat 10-5, open late Thurs until 8 pm, and Sun. 12-4. We are CLOSED MONDAYS. On Thursdays we have open sewing. Come and use our large classroom with design walls and tables to baste large quilts.

Welcome to Susan's Calico Creations located in Fulton, IL on the Great Mississippi River.
Stop in and visit our historic building in the quaint river town of Fulton. Our rejuvenated downtown also contains an authentic Dutch Windmill from Holland, Windmill Cultural Center, Heritage Canyon, and many other historic sites and shops. Susan's Calico Creations is known for our antique baby cribs which showcase the generous variety of quilting fabrics. We specialize in batiks, Asian fabrics, Moda lines and brights.

Come in and enjoy our hot coffee, fresh cookies and Southern hospitality. We have a comfortable sitting area for husbands and other visitors. We pride ourselves on the individualized service we provide all our customers. In addition to the quilt shop, our upper levels feature "Attic Woods" an unfinished furniture store specializing in furniture of solid, all wood, construction.
Unique Asian Fabrics and Hoffman Batiks

Some of our favorite fabrics are the Asian designs and batiks. We carry these fabrics from many companies including, Kona Bay, Robert Kaufman, Michael Miller, Maywood Studios, Hoffman and Island Batiks. We enjoy the creative possibilities within the wonderful textures and patterns of these rich fabrics.
Brights and Juvenile Prints that any child would love!!
We love brights! We carry a wide variety of bright and juvenile fabrics from Robert Kaufman, Michael Miller, Hoffman, Moda, Quilting Treasures, RJR Fabrics, P&B Textiles, and South Sea Imports. We create many samples utilizing these fabrics and have kits available for easy shopping!
Overflowing with Quilt Kits
We have an abundance of quilt kits for table toppers, runners, wall hangings, lap quilts, and bed size quilts in all types of color schemes and styles. Kits include the pattern or book, the fabrics for the top and binding, but not backing. If our kit is a little different from the pattern, we always include a picture to help you achieve our color layout.

Classes range from beginner to challenging projects. Join us for various levels of classes. Susan May, enjoys teaching landscaping, jackets and the strips and curves technique. We have samples of all our class projects and will help you select fabrics to reflect your personality. Frequent classes include machine quilting, appliqu and newest techniques from popular magazines.
