Welcome to the world of high-grade shoe repair; Beehive Shoeworks. We combine old-world craftsmanship with new world technology to bring you unsurpassed results. These results allow you to care for and maintain your footwear the way the original master craftsman intended.
Beehive Shoeworks was established in Chicago by Hanna N. Shunnarah, an immigrant who came to the United States over 55 years ago. Due in part to his legacy, we enjoy notoriety in both the press and among the public at large. Our reputation as the best shoe repair in Chicago is hard won, and one that we take very seriously.
Beehive Shoeworks specializes in factory method resoling. Each pair of shoes is fitted with the proper last. The sole is removed, cork foot beds are stripped and replaced, and even welt and heel bases are replaced when necessary. We use a minimum of 19 steps in order to complete our resoling process.
Our process is so detail-oriented that we even take the time to pre-grove a channel before stitching the new sole on. This is done so that the stitching of the new sole is below the surface of the leather to allow maximum wear on your repair. The final step is to remove the lasts so that the original size and shape of the shoe are not altered.
Beehive Shoeworks has partnered with Most Shoe Stuff.com to offer the most complete line of shoe care products and accessories available. Be sure to use promo code "Beehive" when checking out to get an additional discount.
