The Elegant Petal floral design, located in St. Charles provides individualized wedding flowers and event decor for the Fox Valley and the surrounding Chicagoland area.
Casey Murdough is a European-trained floral artist with over 10 years in the floral industry whose designs have been featured in The Wedding Guide and Chicago Home and Garden magazines and most recently on getmarried.com. Her career began with a deep and abiding love for flowers and nature, and she was drawn into the floral industry after completing a degree in Environmental and Biological Science from the University of Illinois. After a 3-year apprenticeship in both floral design and wedding planning, she has continued education from the Boerma Instituut in Holland as well as specialized coursework in various applications of floral design. Casey has been the owner and lead designer of The Elegant Petal since 2000.!N!N The Elegant Petal specializes in personal services, such as on-site consultations at venues, individualized tabletop appointements, coordination with wedding vendors and cohesive event design, including a new green weddings line. We hand select our floral product from trusted farms, growers and markets with which we have a long standing relationships, from California to Ecuador, Europe and Asia.
Personal (60 minute) consultations are by appointment early booking is recommended, as we provide event design services for a limited number of events each year. We offer service to all of the Fox Valley, surrounding cities and beyond.
