Located on 145 acres near the quiet town of Chapin, Illinois, three miles northwest of Jacksonville, IL, Buena Vista Farms was once cattle pasture and homestead.The farm passed to heirs and sold to the Gutierrez family in 2000.
The Gutierrez had just returned from Bolivia where they lived on a cattle ranch near a small town, Buena Vista, named for the beautiful view coming down a mountain, overlooking the valley town.
We are thrilled to welcome you to Buena Vista Farms, with beautiful views of the pond, woods and abundant wildlife.A peaceful setting, away from city lights, is star-filled, and quiet, relaxing around a bon fire. Formal gardens and pond offer photo settings, spots to sit and relax, hike or play outdoor games for casual celebrations and reunions.
Two buildings, pergola, and tents, offer elegant settings for outdoor or indoor weddings. Productive and fun business meetings take place with a variety of team building events.
