Thomas Engineers refers to an association of consultants who work independently and cooperatively to provide a full complement of structural engineering services. A large portfolio of successful designs for buildings, bridges, and special structures is augmented by our work in structural dynamics, structural stability, and computation science. Clients include industrial and commercial enterprises, public institutions, and government.

Dr. Thomas S. Dranger, the Principal Engineer, began his practice in 1975. Also, he has taught engineering in the College of Engineering and in the Graduate College at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Dr. Dranger works with the Analytic Engine Company offering engineering support services, consulting services in engineering management and practice, research and development in computation science and software, embedded computer systems, small structures and construction technology.

CONSULTING STRUCTURAL ENGINEERS Our service is project engineering, managed with the goals of the client always in mind. Necessarily, our work is grounded in principles of mathmatics, materials science and engineering, and our ideas are conveyed in the technical conventions of our discipline. Yet even the most advanced of these are merely our tools. Each client and project has the professional and personal attention of the principal engineer, interacting directly to communicate effectivley and efficiently.
