Mark A. Kaminski, Sr. founded Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home in 1997, in Justice, IL, with the desire to see that area families were served with dignity, respect, and uncompromising personal service. The Kaminski family's reputation was built on these traditions and is sustained through compassion and sensitivity, while respecting your family's values.

The Kaminski family's exceptional personal service, attention to detail, and value have allowed us to grow and further meet your needs. Our second facility, Sheldon-Goglin-Kaminski Funeral Home in Chicago, is just one way we have expanded to serve you better.

Our on-site crematorium in Justice, IL, opened in 2007, and offers families at both locations the peace of mind of knowing that their loved ones are under our care at all times. While other funeral homes may offer cremation services, they use facilities owned and operated by others within the funeral industry and outside that of your chosen funeral director. Your loved one is under our care at all times.

Each of our facilities has beautifully appointed chapels with homelike atmospheres, tastefully decorated and comfortingly furnished. We offer families the choice of services and arrangements in English or Polish, with Spanish available upon request.
