Cathy has over 15 years experience in the counseling field. She received her Masters of Science Degree in Counseling/Human Services from National-Louis University of Elgin, ILin 2001. Cathy became an Ordained Minister through the Universal Life Church of Seattle, Washington in 2007 and has received a Doctorates of Divinity and Metaphysics. She has been studying the Healing Art of Shamanism withthe Rev. Robin Tekwelus Youngblood, a Native American Shaman since Spring, 2006 and Hawaiian HunaHealing with Hawaiian Kupuna, the Rev. Nahi'ena'ena Guzman since early Fall, 2008, bothfrom Maui, HI. Cathy received her Bachelors of Arts Degree from Columbia College and an Assoicateof Science Degree from McHenry County College, Crystal Lake, IL.

Cathy has a range of experiences working with individuals and groups in the settings of hospitals, schools, primary care physicians' offices, social service agencies, domestic violenceand with the McHenry County Crisis Program. She has facilitated violence prevention presentations within schools addressing issuessuch asbullying, dating violence, family violence and discrimination issues, speaking with over 8000 students, grades K-12. In past, she has volunteered her services with the Girl Scouts of America, The Breakthroughs for Youth at Risk Program and assisted in various non-for-profit fundraisers.
