Alert: Vishing Scam!
SSCU has received several reports from its members of automated telephone calls informing them of fraudulent activity on their debit cards. The automated system prompts members to press 1 to have their card reactivated. It then asks for the card number, CVV number, and expiration date of the debit card. On members’ caller identification the number states blocked, private, or unknown number. These calls are not legitimate and members are urged to hang up the phone, should they receive a call of this nature. There is no need to contact the Credit Union unless you have given your information out though this automated telephone call! If you have given your card information out, please contact SSCU at (217) 528-2642 and ask to speak to a Specialist! Please be assured that SSCU is monitoring cards closely! We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your support!

Sangamon Schools Credit Union would like to introduce the Lending Center at our Central Office, located at 1420 South 8th Street in Springfield. Effective April 2010, all loan requests and loan questions will be handled at the Central Office. Members who would like to apply for a loan have the following options:
