Knollcrest Funeral Home was established in 1989. When Robert Van Staalduinen and his family purchased the land where the funeral home is today, there were trees, an old farmhouse, and a barn. Robert and his wife Elaine built and decorated the funeral home with the goal of creating a comfortable, home-like place where people could come during a difficult time.
Over the years, the staff at Knollcrest has served many families, and we strive to meet each family's individual needs. We are proud of our commitment to excellence, and we could tell you more, but we feel these letters from families we have served say enough:
"We would like to express our sincere thanks for all you and your family did to make our sad days easier to cope with. Your facilities are excellent and your personal attention to all our needs were very much appreciated."
"Thank you so much for the beautiful way you conducted the service...You made it easier for us to say 'goodbye'....the manner in which you handled everything, from the beginning to the last words you spoke at the cemetery, was a true reflection of you love and care for people."
"My thanks and appreciation for your kindness, helpfulness, and sincere sympathy are given to you with the greatest respect. May God bless all of you and continue to give you the compassion and support you give to so many."
At Knollcrest, we are confident that we can meet your every need, and we will do so with the compassion, dignity, and respect you deserve and need. We encourage you to visit or phone us at (630) 932-1500 should you have any questions about the services we offer; we may also be reached via email at knollcrest@knollcrest.net.
