B&B Tool Company is a precision machine shop located in Rockford, IL. Operating from an 18,000 sq ft air-conditioned facility, we provide CNC and traditional machining and grinding to a variety of industries.
Dallas Beaver and Howard Bowgren founded B&B Tool in 1968. They opened for business with themselves as employees, two Bridgeport mills, a belt-drive lathe, belt-drive surface grinder and one drill press. With this handful of machinery, the skills acquired from recently completed apprenticeships, and a strong desire to succeed, they began to build their customer base.
The growing company moved in 1971, again in 1973, and most recently in 1993. The multiple moves have taken B&B from a small two-man operation, to our current 18,000 sq ft climate controlled facility, with sixteen CNC machines, and nearly forty machine tools in all.
While initially serving the stamping industry with die repair services, we have since grown away from this work. Today, we provide CNC and traditional machining and grinding, provide special machines and assemblies, tooling and fixtures to meet our customers specifications.
Now in its second generation, we at B&B Tool Company continue to maintain our commitment to meeting our customers expectations, with regard to quality, value, and service.
