A.M. Comfort & Orthopedic Shoes is family owned and a locally operated shoe store in Chicago. We have been in business since 1979, and working in the footwear industry for 30 years has brought us a great deal of knowledge. We are a full service Pedorthic facility that specializes in shoes for women and men for work, casual, dress, and athletics in a large selection of sizes and widths. We also have a full service Pedorthic laboratory on site which allows us to make any adjustments to shoes to our customer specifications. We also have a large selection of off the shelf arch supports to accommodate many types of foot abnormalities and can also custom make arch supports with a doctor’s prescription. With our extensive knowledge of orthopedics we are capable of fitting many types of braces. We are also a Medicare Accredited facility providing Diabetic footwear, which means there is no upfront cost to our customers.
