The therapists and counselors at the Adolescent Counseling Center of DuPage specialize in providing psychological therapy and counseling to youths, teens, and young adults, ages 11 to 22, for symptoms such as:

physical, psychological, and emotional abuse
rape, incest, and sexual molestation victims and survivors (male and female)
anorexia, bulimia, and eating disorders

The Test of Variables of Attention is an objective, computerized test of attention that assists in the screening, diagnosis, and treatment monitoring of attention disorders such as ADD and ADHD. By precisely measuring reaction times while playing a very simple computer game, and then comparing the results to a similar group of people without attention disorders, the T.O.V.A. provides additional objective data to help clinicians accurately diagnose whether or not someone has ADD/ADHD. It can also help determine the effectiveness and optimum dosage of ADD/ADHD medications. Although we specialize in treating adolescents, we can also administer the T.O.V.A. test to any adult or child aged 6 and older. You can then bring the test results back to your own doctor or therapist if you wish. We are one of the few healthcare providers in the western suburbs of Chicago that can offer this service. The Adolescent Counseling Center is located one block east of Washington Street on Van Buren Avenue, just a few blocks south of the train station in downtown Naperville, Illinois, right next to North Central College. We serve the entire DuPage County area, as well as Aurora, eastern Kane County, northeastern Kendall County, and northern Will County. We are a participating provider in the BlueCross BlueShield, Magellan Health Services, UniCare, and APS Healthcare insurance networks, and we accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, and PayPal. For families with Corphealth, ValueOptions, or UnitedHealthcare insurance, please be aware that we are no longer in those provider networks. Medicaid, KidCare, and All Kids
The Adolescent Counseling Center of DuPage, P.C. does not take Medicaid, KidCare, and All Kids. For families who have these plans, we recommend they seek services from Aunt Marthas Healthcare Network. Aunt Marthas accepts Medicaid/KidCare/All Kids, and they offer counseling and other healthcare services at various locations throughout the Chicago area.
