My husband, myself and our boys love and enjoy our pets and wanted to find a way to bring the same love and joy to others. We started our mission with extensive research of the pet industry, traveled to many places to see different pet stores of all types and sizes, and made note of what we liked and disliked. What we determined was that in order for us to focus the proper amount of time and attention to ensuring the health, safety and happiness of our pets, we wanted to open a pet cottage that focuses only on puppies and kittens. We then traveled throughout the Midwest and the East Coast to see where our puppies and kittens would come from, making sure that they do not come from puppy and kitten mills, but rather from USDA licensed and approved breeders from right here in the USA. We will never buy a puppy or kitten from a place we have not visited.

We then consulted with different veterinarians as to what would be the best way to bring the puppies and kittens into our cottage. Our goal is to make sure they are healthy when they arrive and that our cottage environment keeps them healthy and happy while they stay with us. Education is also extremely important. Our goal is to be knowledgeable about every pet in our cottage; from their background, their purpose, their habitat along with what will keep them healthy and happy. We want to share this knowledge with our customers to help them find the pet that will be the right fit for their family.
