As designer of Cinder Ridge I must admit in the beginning I was very skeptical about my abilities to design. until a very good friend of mine viewed some of the beginnings and restored my confidence and moral. When open in 1995 we were nominated for designing awards from Golf Digest. Over the years I played alot of golf all over the country. So I took a little bit of what I liked from many different places and melted it into Cinder Ridge.I want every golfer who plays Cinder Ridge, whatever their ability, to find the course new and exciting each time it's played, no matter how often.

Since opening in 1995 many great improvements have been made, fairways are opened giving a player risk and reward opportunity.
