We finally have influenza vaccine for everyone available at the Staunton Clinic. We recently received a shipment of the H1N1 injectable vaccine. Now we have vaccine available for all ages.
If you have not gotten your influenza vaccine, call the clinic and set up an appointment to get you influenza vaccine.
The Staunton Clinic now has H1N1 "Swine" flu vaccine. The injectable vaccine does contain a small amount of thimerosal, which is a preservative. We also have the nasal vaccine, which is a live but weakened vaccine. Clinic patients may call the clinic to make an appointment if they are high risk for H1N1 influenza.
At this time, the vaccine is still being restricted to the high risk populations. This is a governmental restriction that the clinic and health department are required to follow.

Person 6 months old to 24 years old
Persons caring for children under 6 months old
Persons 25 years old to 64 years old with chronic medical conditions (diabetes, asthma, etc)
