Artful Bras on Display
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and you guys have done a fantastic job helping us promote awareness and supporting breast cancer research through our Artful Bras for the Cause campaign. We have 78 fabulous, funny bras donated by caring, creative, compassionate women. Be sure to come in anytime during the month of October to see this moving and humorous exhibit of decorated bras. If you didnt make a bra, you can make a donation while viewing the exhibit and voting for your favorite entry. Bras will be displayed the entire month of October, Mondays through Fridays, 9:00-6:00 and Saturdays, 9:00-3:00.

Make A Tie
Tie-One-On class instructs you on the making of ties worthy of Gentlemans Quarterly. Christmas is coming, and a tailor-made tie is a great gift for that working guy. Free class. $15-$16 for supplies.

Come learn a fabulous technique that will turn your extra zippers, notions and embellishments into a funky fun zipper brooch! We have samples of these brooches in the store for you to check out. Debbie Martinez teaches you how. Cost is $25.00 + kit.

Unleash your creativity and make a unique jacket while enjoying the camaraderie and insights that only and overnight retreat can provide. Marge Perkins of Designs by Marge inspires and motivates you to try new thingswonderful fabric placements, variations on cuffs, lapels, and sleeves, ways to use trims, jewels, patchwork, applique, and embroidery. Each person will create her own unique garment on a sweatshirt foundation. This is a two night, three day workshop/retreat and prior sewing experience is required. Only 8 participants are allowed per retreat, so book now. $100 includes a two-night stay at the retreat and motivation and guidance from Marge. This is a perfect opportunity to make that fabulous holiday garment for gatherings and parties. This workshop requires a sweatshirt that is one size larger than you usually wear.
