Being the very first Brazilian Jiu Jitsu & MMA school in this area, we have many high ranking belts - black, brown & purple belts. Practicing and sparring with these instructors & students will make you improve rapidly.
Our classes focus on techniques and drills, providing you with excellent instructions and a good overall workout. Our school is proud in its ability to not only teach beginner students but also surprise students who have years of training with advanced techniques.

New Judo Class starts in November!Hisae, a Kodokan Judo black belt from Japan, will teach Judo classes in the same
way as the Japanese Judo players practice in the native land of Judo. Join in this
new class to improve your take down game ! This class also covers how to control
your opponent on ground and submissions.
Monday & Wednesday 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM, for both Kids & Adults

Barbecue Picnic On Sunday, Sep26, about 50 CJJ members, family & friends including 3 dogs
came together to enjoy a fall afternoon at Busse Woods Forest Preserve. We
enjoyed full of food, conversation & games! Special thanks to the Champion JJ

Champion Jiu-Jitsu Takes Victory at NAGA Championships North American Grappling Association Championships, Villa Park, Illinois September 4-5, 2010
Some of our athletes competed at the NAGA championships, and came
home with a lot of great accomplishments. Our first place finishes include:
Ricky Dimitrov continued his way to victory with multiple first place finishes
by submitting all of his competitors.
Brandon Friedman, the youngest and lightest in his weight class, placed
first in the 14&Under No-Gi division, and placed second in the Gi Division.
John Gallegos competed in the Advanced No-Gi division, and brought
home the Championship Belt, again.

Kanako Inaba and Mike Reyna placed 3rd in the World! World Jiu-Jitsu Championship (Mundial), Long Beach, CA June 3 - 6, 2010 Mundial is one of the most prestigious tournaments world-wide, in which the best Jiu-Jitsu players from different parts of the world compete to gain the title as the world champion. Leo, John, Dan, Taka and Lorenzo competed for their first time and played very well. Kanako finished with a bronze medal at the women's Black / Brown belt division. Mike also received the bronze medal at the men's Brown belt division. In addition, he received his black belt from Prof. Assou for his great accomplishment! More

NAGA Apr. 24th 2010, Oak Lawn IL Congratulations to all the Champion JJ competitors. We had about 10 competitors and took home (2) Champion belts, (5) golds and (5) silvers!

Ray's farewell party was held on Dec.11th Friday. He went back to his cuntry and will open his Dojo in 2010. Wish him the best in his success and happiness!
