We have a very successful donor egg program which can help women with reduced ovarian reserve. We work closely with many egg donor agencies and sometimes patients provide known donors. Success rates for the donor egg program usually equal the rates for the donors age group. For example, if the eggs of a twenty year old are used in an IVF cycle with a 38 year old recipient, success rates equal the twenty year old age group.
It is very important that a reproductive endocrinologist, such as Dr. Borkowski or Dr. Davies, be consulted early in treatment. Conception is most likely to occur when a couple is under the care of a fertility specialist and treatment costs are usually better controlled.
