It is with deep sadness that we have to tell you that Harriet Rich, proud founder and owner of Magic Needle, Inc. has passed away at the age of 81.
For the past 40 years, Harriet’s store has been a fixture in the needlearts industry. In 1968, she opened her first retail store where she started to build a loyal clientele, turning customers into friends and creating a neighborly atmosphere where people would sit around the table chatting and sharing stories about life. For the past 10 years, she has received great joy in getting to know all of you through her website. It was in 1998 when Harriet, an entrepreneur in spirit, expanded her business to the Web creating www.magneedle.com. She would look forward to receiving your communications and was always excited to add new items to the website or meet people through it.
In her honor, the store and website will continue to be operated by her daughter Lynn, granddaughter Tina and trusted friend Iris. Together, we look forward to continuing to serve you with the dedication to quality and customer service that have always been a part of Magic Needle. We appreciate your continued support.
