Rockford's Downtown River District
On the Waterfront, Inc.'s 10th annual music walk celebrating Rockford's downtown River District and local music scene! Walk from establishment to establishment or ride the RMTD trolley to visit sixteen locations hosting local, award-winning musicians. Country, blues, jazz, rock, folk, classic rock, R&B, jam and pop are all featured throughout the night. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Gary Wilmer Scholarship Fund, a music scholarship fund for college bound high school seniors.
Tickets are $7 in advance and $10 the day of the event. 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM

Davis Memorial Festival Park
Stars & Guitars will grace the banks of the Rock River in Davis Park with award winning rib vendors from around the country and four straight days of great musical entertainment. You’ll want to bring your appetite, as professional rib cookers will be grilling ribs all weekend long!
Advance tickets are $15 for all four days or $8 daily at the gate, free Saturday and Sunday prior to 2:00PM. Children 10 and under are free when accompanied by an adult.
Hours: Thursday, 4:30 PM to 11:30 PM-Friday, 4:30 PM to 11:30 PM-Saturday, Noon to 11:30 PM-Sunday, Noon to 8:00 PM

The On the Waterfront Festival presented by Associated bank is Illinois’ largest music festival. Seven music venues jam all day and all night with rock, oldies, R&B, country, classic rock, blues, jazz, pop, reggae, and ethnic music. Encompassing 30 city blocks, with over 100 performances, numerous special events, and over 175 hours of non-stop music, On the Waterfront has been named one of the top three festivals in Illinois by Midwest Living Magazine. More than 50 food booths provide tantalizing fare to tempt everyone’s palette. From traditional favorites to more exotic delicacies, patrons can sample food from around the world presented by local not-for-profit agencies and organizations.

Rockford Country Club
One of Rockford's exclusive golf invitationals, the OTW Director's Challenge is held annually in July at the Rockford Country Club. As a Board-sponsored golf tournament, all proceeds benefit the On the Waterfront, Inc. Reserve Fund, a fund dedicated to protecting the longevity of On the Waterfront, Inc. and its annual events, including the On the Waterfront Festival presented by Associated Bank and Groove Walk.
