Dance In The Light is a Christian emphasis studio and has been since 1998. Our choice of music is Christian, classical, instrumental, and show tunes. Lyrics will be uplifting and tasteful. The costumes for our shows are chosen with discretion. Our dance moves and our choreography is also uplifting and discreet.
Dance In The Light is a performing arts studio. Our dancers have the opportunity to perform in parades, at nursing homes, churches, festivals, malls, schools, variety shows, town halls, parks, etc.
All classes at Dance in the Light are one hour classes. Classes offered for ages 2 through adult include:

We are a family owned business with family values and integrity. We have a direct connection to the professional dance world. Kirk Henning is a professional ballet dancer currently employed by Richmond (Virginia) Ballet Company. Kirk also dances with the prestigious Suzanne Ferrel Ballet, Washington D.C. Kirk was awarded the 2003 Josie Award, most outstanding performer in the Dayton Area, and also was the 2007 recipient of the coveted Movado Award.
Jaclin Henning was a professional dancer employed by Holland America Cruise Lines. Monica Henning danced with Graffeti and The Collective. Both are hip hop companies based in Chicago. She was also employed by Chrisma, an entertainment company.
If students want to be professional dancers, we know the training they need and we can provide it. We also know where to send them to supplement their education. Our students are taught with terminology so they can walk into any audition and compete.
We will not lead a serious dancer to believe that the dance world ends at our studio door. We will train, guide and educate her/him in the ways and means of the dance world.
