Welcome To Chung's Tae Kwon Do and Hap Ki Do Academy!

We offer intensive martial arts training with specialized programs for adults, children and families. Please browse our site. Here, you will learn about Tae Kwon Do and Hap Ki Do, the instruction that we offer, our philosophy, our Masters, and the benefits of our individual programs. Whether you are researching, looking for a great fitness program, interested in learning self-defense, searching for a school to join, switching dojangs or getting back into martial arts, you are always welcomed and encouraged to visit. Meet with me, Master Chung, and our other instructors and students. You will find that our "family" is a warm and inviting one. We are even open to creative scheduling to help accomodate unique sitiuations. At the Academy, we provide an environment that is rich in culture, with all the modern amenities of a world-class dojang. We have two activity rooms with fully padded, covered floors, spacious changing rooms, lockers, two bathrooms with showers and a fully stocked supply shop.
We have been located in the same location since 1982!!! The Academy is a member in good standing of the World Tae Kwon Do Federation and the United States of America Tae Kwon Do Union (which is a member of the Olympic Committee). The Academy is also a member of the Pan American Moo Duk Kwon and the World Ko Am Mu Do Federation.
We are located in the northwest side of Chicago. A free public parking lot is available just north of us on Northwest Highway. See our address and map.
