As independent owners and operators, we vow to continue working tirelessly to be better equipped to handle the issues of today, and to serve better and smarter the community in which we live and share. In fact, we only serve one family at a time. We do this so that we can provide truly personal care, and our families can have complete use of our home.
We must never lose sight of the fact that funeral service is a ministry to the living. Former British Prime Minister William E. Gladstone (1809-1898) stated:

"Show me the manner in which a nation cares for its dead, and I will measure with mathematical exactness the tender mercies of its people, their respect for the laws of the land, and their loyalty to high ideals."

Imagine what a wonderful world this would be if every funeral practice was still a thriving independent business. Each owner would be a motivated, independent businessperson whose main goal was to provide their community with the best funeral ceremonies and services possible. Free to be themselves with their own personal business styles and individual ways of doing things. Sound too idealistic for this day and age? That's because fewer and fewer companies own more and more funeral practices, the universe of practitioners has become smaller. An atmosphere of stifling mediocrity is closing in on the funeral industry.
