Since 1885, our family has been dedicated to providing caring, dignified and personal funeral service to the Chicagoland community. Our great grandfather, Anton Linhart, began our familys commitment to funeral service in a storefront on 19th Street in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood.
As funeral traditions changed from visitations being held in the home of the deceased to visitations in the funeral home, our grandfather, Joseph Linhart, built a dedicated "funeral home" across the street from our original location. In 1960, our father, Joseph Linhart, Jr., completed construction of our current location in Berwyn. Our facility is fully handicapped accessible, and we believe the most accommodating in the area.
We are proud of our four generations in funeral service. We understand that each family has its own special needs and tradtions. There is no typical funeral. We are committed to helping you create a meaningful service which is appropriate for you and your family. You can be assured that one of our family members willprovide your friends and family with compassionate care and attention to detailat a reasonable price.
