Since our founding in 2001 by Scott Den Uyl, Cabinets Unlimited has become one of the premier custom cabinet and remodeling contractors in Chicago's Western Suburbs.
Cabinets Unlimited is a "one-stop" shop for remodeling needs. We can coordinate your cabinet, shelving, window and counter needs with electrical and plumbing upgrades. All types of countertops—granite, laminates, solid surfaces and quartz surfaces—are available through us. You won't have to deal with four different contractors to get your kitchen or bath work done. We handle it all!
We're best known as a custom cabinet maker, as well as a kitchen and bath designer/contractor, but also undertake a variety of home and business construction projects. We do any kind of residential work, including home offices, libraries, basement rec rooms, home theaters, custom closets, refreshment centers, and outdoor decks.

To outfit your remodeling, we offer one of the widest selections of cabinet lines in the country, but we feature Plain & Fancy Custom Cabinetry, America's premium brand from Pennsylvania Dutch Country.
Plain & Fancy offers over 100 different custom finishes in over seven varieties of wood, and manufactures to order, so they will fit every project, every time. In our opinion, Plain & Fancy worksmanship is unparalleled, and that's saying a lot because we've been making cabinets for a quarter-century!
But we also offer other fine lines, including Schrock, Medallion, Omega, Bruce and HomeCrest. And if they don't meet your needs, we can make your cabinets for you!
For your special project, we will custom-build cabinetry and shelving ourselves in our own shop in Itasca, using our own tools, including capital equipment such as table and cutoff saws, joiner-planers, edge profilers, routers and rare European hand tools.
Our experienced craftsmen work with any brand to fit the installation swiftly, perfectly and permanently. The same people who build our custom cabinets, install them.
