Fall Furnace Start-Up Tips
Be sure the furnace power switch is in the ON position. The switch is typically located on the side of the cabinet.
Check circuit breaker for furnaceto be sure it is engaged.
Turnthermostat to "HEAT" andset at leastfour degrees above room temperature.
If the furnace fails to start, turn power switch OFF and ON again to re-boot system.
If the furnace does not start within five minutes of re-booting call 630 879-1544 for immediateservice.

Well folks winter is right around the corner and its predicted to be a doozy. Now while you still can, get outside and check the caulk around your windows and doors. Save money and add comfort by replacing it if its missing or cracked. Hey, there are other ways besides a new furnace to save energy and keep comfortable. ( But I dont know if caulk qualifies for the tax credit.) Mulch those perennials you loved so much this summer so you can enjoy them again next year. Wash the windows one last time. Remember how crazy you thought your neighbor was hanging holiday lights in shirtsleeves. Maybe hes on to something. Pull out those chili recipes and get ready for the game.
