Dr. Lane is from Benton, Illinois and graduated from Western Kentucky University before going on to the University of Illinois Veterinary School. After vet school he and his wife Kathy moved to southern California where he worked with horses and small animals before deciding to come home and set up practice in Carbondale. He established Lakeside Veterinary Hospital in 1978. Dr. Lane especially loves dentistry and general surgery. David and Kathy have three grown children and four grandchildren. Dr. Lane is very busy running the two practices and is involved in Barbershop singing and likes to fly his small airplane around the local area. Dr. Lane is involved with Christian Veterinary Mission and has made several trips to the Middle East. They have two Dachshunds and two cats and a large aquarium full of fish. View

Dr. Sesock is a 2000 graduate from the University of Illinois School of Veterinary Medicine in Urbana, Illinois. Originally from the southern tip of Illinois, Gail played high school basketball and was known as a very good athlete. She started her college career as an engineering major but later switched to pre-veterinary medicine. She worked during her SIU years at Lakeside Veterinary Hospital and after graduating from SIU in 1996 was accepted into veterinary school. Dr. Sesock loves general medicine and surgery and spends most of her time at the Energy practice, which is closer to her home. She is married to Brent Sesock. Gail and Brent are the proud parents of Justin Paul Sesocktheir firstborn. Justin is growing daily. They own a longhaired Dachshund named Hershey. View
