Great Shapes Fitness for Women, Inc. locally owned and operated since 1984 by fitness professional Catherine Turner. There is no other women's fitness and weight loss center in this area that can compare to all that Great Shapes has to offer. With over 5,000 square feet of space, Great Shapes provides a friendly, clean and fun place for women to exercise or just relax. Women of any age or fitness level can find the right type of fitness program to fit their desired goals or needs.
All classes are FREE with membership including Yoga, Pilates and Zumba!
At Great Shapes what you won't get is a restricted bland diet or a boring hydraulic circuit workout. What you will get is sound nutritional advise, professional guidance on how to use the equipment. Beginner to Advanced level fitness classes and a clean, friendly & fun place to Shape up and Lose Weight!
There are several different group fitness classes taught by certified instructors that are offered daily and certified personal trainers are available to customize individual programs. This allows one to change their workout regularly, which promotes better fitness and a more enjoyable workout. A membership at Great Shapes includes all of the fitness classes (Step, Boot Camp, Yoga, Pilates, Cardio Kickboxing, Body Sculpting/Pump, Indoor Cycling, and more), aerobic equipment (Stairmasters, Treadmills, Elliptical Cross Trainers, Stationary Bikes, Rowing Machine) and a large variety of weight equipment and free weights.
After a hard workout members have access to a full facility locker room with lockers, showers, sauna and other daily amenities provided. For mothers we offer childcare services, which includes toys, books, games, movies, and snacks. Free nutritional counseling. Great Shapes also offers Massage Therapy for both men and women with a Certified and Licensed Massage Therapist available seven days a week by appointment. Gift certificates are available and membership is not required. Kids Fitness Classes are also offered.
