Kitchen & Bath Outlet Center Riverbend INC's President/Owner, Larry Krotz, was born in Alton, Illinois in 1950. He graduated from Alton Senior High in 1968 with a football scholarship to Illinois State University. He is an Air Force veteran of Viet Nam honorably discharged. He began his career in cabinetry in 1976, the same year he married Teresa, his wife of 33 years.

Some of his accomplishments include designing and selling all the cabinets in the "Sandpiper" high rise condo on the beach in Corpus Christi Texas. He later designed and sold all the cabinetry in the "Aransas Princess" in Port Aransas Texas, which had Bob Hope's personal interior decorator picking colors. He also had two appearances on Corpus Christi's television morning show answering questions about kitchen and bath design.

This is when Kevin Robinson began his career with Kitchen & Bath Outlet Center Riverbend INC. He remains a most critical part of the operation handling sales chores as well as scheduling installations.

The company, upon completing a ten year lease at Monticello Plaza, moved into the new location on Homer Adams Parkway in Alton, Illinois. During that year Mr. Krotz received a national award from "omega" cabinetry for best design utilizing custom designed cabinetry.
